- priest - n. one who knowingly buys and sells stolen goods (a fence)
- rune - v. to read; to write; to be literate
- shiner - n. a religious person; a cleric; a member of the Church of Pelor
- sink - v. to sabotage
- sinker - n. one who engages in sabotage (typically industrial or commercial)
- skin - v. to rob, taking everything of value
- skinner - n. a robber or bandit; term of address for a person of questionable standing
- slab - n. a home or a grave
- sog - n. a poor or pitiable person. A Soggytown resident

- stringer - n. a cheat; a charlatan
- toss - n. a dockworker; a brawny fellow (often used as a nickname)
- tree - n. ironic term for a dwarf. originally meaning "treestump", currently used as a set-up for a joke with the punchline "they grow in the ground and aren't very fast".

To the Rev: I don't like shorty (too obvious) but legs is pretty good for elves. I'll see what I can do. 'S got me thinking about what dwarves should be called, tho.

I had to change "cutter", since I discovered it was a direct rip from Planescape (carrying the same meaning as 'skinner' does here). Cutty replaced it, and brought along 'nick' and the bizarre 'nicknocket'. Sample dialogue changed to fit.
